Graeme nets charity cash with Freshfield Fantasy Football win

Congratulations to Graeme Thorpe on being crowned Freshfield’s Premier League Fantasy Football champion for the 2024-25 season.
In a gripping end to the season, Graeme, an associate at planning consultancy PWA Planning, topped our Fantasy Premier League mini league with a whopping 2,603 points and was just 25 points clear of former champion Alex Walmsley of Harrison Drury solicitors.
Freshfield CEO Simon Turner claimed third place in our ‘Serie F Lega’ mini league which has now been running for five consecutive seasons, raising money for a plethora of good causes.
His FPL heroics mean Graeme took the prize of a £250 donation to a charity of his choice and he decided to split the money between Dogs for Rescue and Reubens Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research.
Sally French, Freshfield’s office and finance manager and our social value lead, said: “It was another rollercoaster of a season for our fantasy football fanatics, and we’re pleased for Graeme on claiming his first title win in the Freshfield mini league.
“We hope this donation made on Graeme’s behalf can help to two very worthy causes to continue making a difference.”
